I'm a learning and performance consultant. Over the past decade I've directed a $1M+ training and certification portfolio, developed continuing medical education reaching more than 50,000 physicians, and built OSHA-aligned safety training programs for organizations where getting it wrong has real consequences.

Before all of that, I was a high school English teacher.

That combination matters to me. I care whether an idea is correct:  whether the methodology holds up, whether the design is sound, whether the measure is actually measuring the right thing. But I also care whether someone can understand it and use it. Making hard things genuinely clear, not dumbed down, just clear, is as much a craft as the technical work it serves.

The question that runs through everything I do: What should people be able to do differently and how will we know? Not "how many people finished," not "how many hours were logged." What changed on the job?

If your training looks good on paper but nothing is changing on the ground, that gap is where I do my best work.
